Frequently Asked Questions

How do calculation limits work?

Personal plan allows saving up to 5 calculations. Family and Business plans offer unlimited calculations. The limit only counts saved calculations, not calculations you perform without saving.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes! You can upgrade from Personal to Family or Business at any time. You'll immediately get all the benefits of the new plan. Previously saved calculations will remain available.

What happens when my Business subscription expires?

You'll lose access to organization features, dashboard, and API. Your saved calculations will remain accessible. You can renew at any time to restore full access.

How do I add family members?

With Family plan, go to the Family Dashboard and click "Add Member". You can add up to 5 members and calculate zakat for each separately or see the family summary.

How do I invite organization members?

With Business plan, go to Organization Dashboard → Members → Invite Member. Enter their email and they'll receive an invitation link to join your organization.

How do I get an API key?

API keys are only available to Business tier subscribers. Go to Organization Dashboard → Settings → API Keys → Generate New Key. Keep your key secure - it won't be shown again!

Is my payment secure?

Yes! We use Stripe to process all payments. Your card details never pass through our servers. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of certification in the payments industry.

How is nisab calculated?

Nisab is the minimum wealth threshold that makes zakat obligatory. Gold nisab is 85g of gold, silver nisab is 595g of silver. We use current precious metal prices to calculate the equivalent in your currency.
